SIDECAR RESIDENCE
The Sidecar Residence was organized around a side yard directly accessible from the main living spaces. This space provides a large outdoor room for gathering and focal point for views from the interior. The neighborhood’s front porches are referenced in the street facing facade with large openings oriented toward the neighborhood park and side yard.

WEST SALEM MODERN
The Sidecar Residence was created as part of the West Salem Modern development (WSM). WSM is a contiguous series of 5 lots, subdivided in the 1920’s, located in Winston Salem, NC. The vision for this project was to provide homes that exude modern design ideals and building techniques at a price point that is generally not available to middle-income households.
The vision was achieved through out step-by-step codified process. As a result, our team was able to deliver a high level of quality, while maintaining control of the costs.
